We are a small cattery in Olympia, Washington. Our goal is to produce very loving and social cubs to add to your family. I was involved in a car accident in 2012 and continue to suffer a mild traumatic brain and back injury. I spent most of my days at the doctors going through physical and brain therapy sessions. I was depressed and in pain almost every day. After 2 years of this, I wanted to give up. That's when something wonderful happened. I decided to surprise my wife with a couple kittens for our anniversary. Not just any kittens...one was a Desert Lynx and the other was a Bengal. From that day on, I noticed something different about myself. I was in a little bit less pain, so it seemed. Every time I had real bad pain, my Bengal, Zeus, would come running to me and demand love. So I would give it. What I and my doctors noticed over the next few months was amazing. My brain function, activity level, and spirit increased. That's when I realized what my cats had done for me. Watching them play and taking care of them made me happy which helped take my mind off the pain.
That's when I thought....hmmm, what if I got more!! My wife gave me those big '0h heck NO!' eyes! That lasted for about 3 seconds, and then she listened to my idea. What if we could develop the perfect cats to bring healing and joy to others, like they have for me? Well, that is exactly what we have done. We selected a breed of cat that has all the traits I was looking for. We purchased two female Cheetohs and a great male Cheetoh, who all have great personalities of their own. We will be selecting a few out of each litter who have the possibility to be the ultimate therapy cat. These cubs will be hand selected and very well socialized within our family of 3 children, 2 adult male cats, and 2 dogs. We also will be doing the same with the rest of the babies, and they will make great pets for the perfect family. Our goal is to provide loving and healthy life long companions to people who are willing to make the commitment . If you have any questions, feel free to shoot us over a message on our contact page.
( Update on my personal recovery: In 2019 I finally was able to have spine surgery to relieve allot of the pain in my back and neck. I do still have lots of muscle pain and spasms throughout my body on a daily basis. My TBI still messes with my mind, still have short term memory issues, but have learned over the years how to deal with them. If you have a similar story to share or need anyone to chat with, feel free to reach out to us. We are always here to help :)
